Why I Demonstrated Today at My State Capitol

I demonstrated today against the Trump presidency, but not because I think Russians stole the election on his behalf. I don't believe the Russians stole the election.

Rather, I think Trump was the Archie Bunker candidate for many Americans. His populist promises resonated with white, middle-America, but I think its clear from his political appointments that Trump's allegiances are to Wall Street, especially Goldman Sachs.

Trump's political appointments are one of the reasons I demonstrated today. See my discussion here http://majiasblog.blogspot.com/2016/12/united-states-of-goldman-sachs-wall.html:

Trump's rhetoric also prompted me to demonstrate, as it is laden with aggression toward women and ethnic and religious minorities.

One of my favorite photos from today:

  1. "Trump's rhetoric also prompted me to demonstrate, as it is laden with aggression toward women and ethnic and religious minorities." Laden is a fairly strong word, so I am surprised that I have not really come across this such that I can confirm you statement. By religious minorities you are not talking about Zoroastrianism(I have a daughter in law of that faith) or Jainism; my guess is Islam. But now I am puzzled as it seems to me that Liberals by and large accept the way women in nations like Saudi Arabia and Bahrain are treated. Personally I strongly object to honor killing which does go on even in the USA. You may have read of the man who accidentally shot his sleeping daughter three times--he was a Muslim displeased with her behavior! Huma Abedin's mother approves of husbands beating their wives and writes of it in a journal baring her daughter's name as a sub editor. She also favors female genital mutilation. Little is said by Liberals against Merkel and her introduction of Muslim rapists into Germany. Etc. Somehow liberals fail to see this, but find in Trump a real nasty individual. Might it be that the MSM owned as you know by oligarchs was out to get Trump? I think so. No one seems to see anything good in Trump if they are of liberal provenance. Actually I think women in America have their rights--I am not convinced that abortion is a right . . . I am not sure how this could even be determined in a society that tends to deny the right of self defense.
"Trump's allegiances are to Wall Street, especially Goldman Sachs." What you are overlooking is that getting something done in the world that goes against the Establishment will not be easy. He needs people who know the ropes and are already too well off to be lured by money--like say a globalist like Paul Ryan. If one were to pick out top notch academics for these posts within days they would be eaten alive by the politicians and business interests. Surely you know that. Trump has generated about as much opposition as any president ever has. It takes a very keen mind evidently to see what is actually happening; I have heard and read a lot of theories. I suggest we wait and see. And by the way do I detect a bit of contempt for the middle class in your writing? What about Trump taking on the pharmaceuticals? Of course since you voted for Jill Stein who has some of her $8 million dollars invested with them I suppose investigating vaccines and the CDC might not ring the right bells. No, unless one is very rich or very independent money is a strong pull, even stronger than sex. Not being a seasoned politician Trump errored in his expression here and there, but I believe his heart is in the right place. Finally for some reason the drone operations and Obama's wars never really bothered the Liberals much. I guess opposing them would have been viewed as racism. If Hillary had won any criticism of her would have been sexism. People really need to get up to speed on the truth about this world and just how very powerful the negative forces are.
What is actually happening now is a lot of negative doubting. This what kids do when told they have to clean their bedrooms before they can go play. 'The room will get dirty and messy again . . .' We have had a string of truly bad presidents who made little or no pretense of doing anything for the majority and who did many bad things . . . but somehow they were acceptable to the MSM and that apparently is what finally matters. The social construction of reality is more real than reality. Liberals are playing pin ball and if there is hole here the ball falls in or not depending on how adroit the player is. The machines may be rigged but it looks okay, so on they play. Millions of dollars has been spent by lots of women to go to Washington DC to shout obscenities. A fund for teenage prostitutes in CA would have been a finer thing to have done. Really you need money to be a good liberal. That is a fact.

    1. Here is another area that deserves attention but which Liberals shy away from since many think pedophilia is just a matter of sexual preference: "The Clinton Imbroglio In Haiti-Balkan
      Black Magic - PizzaGate 10" - http://www.rense.com/general96/pizza10.htm

Maybe this is just alt right at work? The BBC protected a notorious English pedophile and child molester who was even friends with the Royals.

    2. Of course we are all hypocrites William.

And "liberal" hypocrisy drove me from supporting the Democratic party in this year's presidential race.

Jill Stein isn't perfect but she values the environment and is anti-war.

I applaud Trump's appoint of Robert Kennedy Jr to investigate vaccine safety but his economic appointments are from the "swamp" he promised to drain and these advisors don't have a history of "setting things right" - especially Mnuchin.

The subject of the rights of women is too lengthy to respond to now...

    3. Do you oppose vaccinations Majia? Your kids probably had some. So did you. If you have travelled abroad you have to get some vaccinations to protect yourself from yellow or dengue fever. Aren't you glad you did not get those or that your children have not gotten small pox? Dr Tom Price doesn't like vaccine because they might be dangerous. He does not like the because he thinks public health services are communistic. Boy you and I sure would be in a jam if there were not some of the antibiotics or vaccines invented by pharmaceutical companies. Like penicillin, small pox vaccines, insulin. Yep people can be hipocrites.

    4. I am quite sure a lot of the right wing hoopla about vaccinations is not because they care about vaccine safety. Probably true in Williams case too. It is because Conservatives in the 40s and 50s think vaccinating is socialistic or communistic. That is especially true in Tom Prices case. Quite interesting too that vaccination was really invented by those who practice the medical philosophy of homeopathy. Gotta wonder whether some of the fads about medical practices do not have more sinister roots in right wing political philosophies. We know for sure that anti abortionists are from that ilk.

    5. Some of the non-chemotactic cancer treatments involve vaccinating people against their cancer cells. Amazing how ignorance and extreme political ideologies, can used to manipulate people. Medical fads that prey on peoples fear can be used by ideologists to propel back into a dark age.

    6. Mostly William and Tom Price don't like vaccinations because they do not like giving out freebies. Like school lunch programs. If there ever is, a new small pox outbreak or, a small pox-like outbreak people would be shooting each other to get the vaccine. Especially people like William of the "me-first because I'm better mentality". Probably some people of more control- oriented conservative ilks, would force other peoples kids at gunpoint to get the small pox vaccine so their own kids would not be more at risk for getting it too.

    7. I do not believe I am a hypocrite. I am not sure what kind of test I could give myself to make absolutely sure. No, I do not believe Jill Stein was a particularly good candidate. I do not see how one could teach at the Harvard Medical School and even be someone of much integrity. No, Jill Stein did not have to invest in a number of enterprises she also condemned publicly. In fact she does not need to have eight million dollars to invest to begin with. She definitely identifies with the Elite . . .

    8. "his economic appointments are from the "swamp" he promised to drain and these advisors don't have a history of "setting things right" - especially Mnuchin." Your explanation is certainly the most obvious that Trump was just kidding about draining the swamp. However, looking more deeply it makes absolute perfect sense that he needs people who know the game and how to play it. Anyone you would pick would not know the game from the inside and would soon be stalled. Trump after all will set the policies and not these former swamp creatures who now have a chance to redeem themselves. I think this a far more likely explanation; time will tells us more precisely.

    2. I am glad it was a good experience Majia. For many of us, including a lot of women, we feel like we have entered a dark time. It can be demonstrated by the voluminous rantings of the trump shill and maniac that calls itself William St George. No letting up. Especially under Fukushima and nuclear topics. Sad how dark things have become at a time when humanity could be doing better.

  3. On vaccines: I'm for SAFE vaccines. I am not confident that our testing protocols are comprehensive enough.

I think a review of child vaccine safety is entirely appropriate and needed but that doesn't not mean I want to eliminate all vaccines.

I also believe that there are legitimate reasons why some children are not good candidates for some types of vaccines, particularly if the children have underlying biological vulnerabilities (such as mitochondrial disorders) that may make them vulnerable to particular vaccinations.

My kids were vaccinated but my younger son was vaccinated according to a more spread out vaccination schedule than my older child, who has Asperger's syndrome.

There is no hard scientific evidence vaccines are a good idea to begin with. The above doctor spent three years researching the topic and came to that conclusion. I did not vaccinate my four children and they have been exceptionally healthy. We did eat very carefully. My mother noticed the difference between my kids and the other grand kids.

    2. Addendum: Shouldn't we first have hard scientific proof that vaccines are a good idea? I read an article by an epidemiologist who destroyed the idea of herd immunity. Vaccines produce a much weaker immunity than the actual disease which is often relatively mild like measles. In most cases the childhood disease is preferable to the risk of a vaccine which only has potency for a few years. In my opinion the whole vaccine idea has become a hoax. And I expect the intellectual community to research this with care which so far it has not done probably once again fearing reprisals. Even if Jill Stein for example had serious doubts she would keep them to herself for fear of been ostracized by her relatively elite intellectual community. That is a serious problem in America whether it is vaccines or psychiatric medication (another hoax) or some political matter like immigration that speaking out can be professionally fatal. Not such a free society after all. And not due to Trump either.

Perhaps I am too picky but Soros is not someone I want anything to do with. Politics has not been the main focus of my adult life. I constantly find things out that are surprising. However, it seems to me that most people are even less informed than I am.
I had not considered this: Weapons of Mass Migration: Forced Displacement as an
    Instrument of Coercion http://calhoun.nps.edu/bitstream/handle/10945/11515/SI_V9_I1_2010_Greenhill_116.pdf

Now that the Hillary candidacy has fizzled and the First Amendment is again in force, I am going to withdraw from the hurly burly of politics. I only came to your site for information on Fukushima. Now that the world has decided to live with this perpetual disaster perhaps having no alternative there is really not much more to learn of practical value.
Good luck. Maybe in the years to come you will as a university professor find you have more access to free speech and not have to guard your every word out of fear.
