South Korea Restricts Food Imports From Japan

"South Korea has toughened restrictions on food imports from Japan, imposed in the wake of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear crisis, requiring certificates of inspection for radioactive substances to be attached to shipments of marine products from another seven prefectures...

"South Korea decided to apply the requirement to shipments from Aomori and Iwate as Japanese inspections found radioactive cesium in marine products from the prefectures in excess of allowable limits..."

  1. They will soon run out of countries willing to import Japanese food except for the good old USA and some third world countries in Africa.

    Care for some Japanese sushi? Very spicy and packs quite a punch to heart muscles. Used to be puffer fish was the sushi to die for.. now it's hundreds of species of fish off the Japanese coast.
