EPA Radnet Data 8/14 9:37 PM: High Radiation in Cities Throughout US

REMINDER: Normal "background" in the US is 30 to 60 beta, although many cities will run 0 beta under normal conditions.

The EPA considers anything 3X background to be a health risk.

That means that cities all over the country are running background beta levels far in excess of "safe" levels of exposure.

No these levels will not give you radiation sickness.

However, over time they can cause cancer, heart disease, auto-immune problems, etc.

Denver Colorado is very high around 250 beta

Mason City Iowa is up around 200 beta

Beta levels are no longer being posted for Kansas. I'll need to go into radnet and see if I can find them another way

Springfield MO is over 150 beta

Bismark ND has been running up and down and is about 100 beta righ tnow

Carlsbad NM continues to be high at 250 beta

Pittsburgh is about 150 beta

Salt Lake City Utah is about 150 beta

Luckily for Harrisonburg, their levels finally came down from EXCESSIVE HIGHS

It is hard to tell exactly where Ft Worth Texas is right now but it hasn't been looking very good there

AMARILLO TEXAS IS STILL VERY HIGH AT 300 CPM

REMINDER About 3 days ago we (some enenews collagues and I) traced the jet stream to these 3 cities with spiking levels, Amarillo Texas, Harrisonburg VA, and Carlsbad NM

IF YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT RADIATION LEVELS IN YOUR AREA, CHECK THE JET STREAM. The jet stream plus rain is a bad combo these days.

CALL THE EPA OR WRITE TO THEM AND DEMAND THAT THE PUBLIC BE EDUCATED ON HOW TO REDUCE THEIR PERSONAL EXPOSURE LEVELS
